Psychiatric Emergency

For people under 18 years of age in need of emergency psychiatric care during evenings, nights, and weekends. Call before coming to us so that we can make sure you receive the correct care. A responsible adult over the age of 18 should be present.

Care during weekdays

For people under 18 years of age in need of emergency psychiatric care during weekdays you should contact BUP, a specialist service for child and adolescent psychiatry which offers emergency appointments. Child and adolescent psychiatry (BUP) in Västra Götaland at 1177.

Birth Center

For patients with acute gynaecological emergencies.

For people who are pregnant or have just given birth and need specialised emergency care.

Opening hours

The emergency clinic is open Monday-Friday 8.00-21.00, Saturday and Sunday 8.00-1600. At other times there is emergency care at Department 314, which is one of our labour and delivery wards located at Journalvägen 6, floor 4.
