International collaboration
Sahlgrenska University Hospital is a natural partner for your consortium in Horizon Europe or other EU programs. We have a strong research tradition with focus on the development of healthcare to benefit patients today and in the future.
Our specialized research infrastructure also contributes to the national goal of becoming a leading nation in the Life Science sector. This includes research and innovation in precision medicine, ATMP, AI, health data and person-centred care. The hospital participates as a healthcare provider and member in several European Reference Networks (ERN).
Finding researchers for your consortium
Collaboration is key for advances in research and innovation. Locally, we work with Sahlgrenska Academy, the medical faculty of the University of Gothenburg. We also have a close collaboration with Chalmers University of Technology for advances in medical technology.
Sahlgrenska University Hospital, as part of Region Västra Götaland, is currently active in EU projects and open to participate in more. If you think we can provide the missing piece in your consortium puzzle, contact us well in advance of your deadline. VGR Grants Office supports our researchers when they apply for external funding. This includes EU funding such as Horizon Europe, EU4Health and other programs.
