Family support

When a child becomes ill, the whole family is affected. It is common to feel worried or stressed, or to feel that life is not quite working as usual.

Support for Children and Families

We have Counselors and Psychologists who can provide support for your child, parents and siblings.

How can we help?

We can offer support in different ways, depending on what you need at the moment.

We can help with:

  • Immediate crisis support
  • Advice and guidance
  • Understanding how the illness may affect the family
  • If your child is feeling worried, frightened or low
  • If siblings are affected
  • If family relationships become strained
  • If you, as a parent, need support

Support can be provided for your child, for you as a parent, or for the whole family together.
