Queen Silvia Children's Hospital, a part of Sahlgrenska University Hospital, is one of Europe's leading centres for paediatric healthcare. We are a comprehensive paediatric hospital, treating all types of conditions across all age groups, from extremely premature babies to young people aged 16–18.

- A leader in advanced treatments, including paediatric cancer care, robotic surgery, advanced lung and paediatric heart surgery, gene and cell therapies, and intensive care, with world-class outcomes.
- A Comprehensive Organ Transplant Center for all organ transplants: heart, lung, liver, kidney, intestine, multivisceral and stem cell transplantation.

Two adult family members can stay with their child in the patient's room, a spacious single room with an en-suite bathroom.
Families can also stay at the Ronald McDonald House next to the children's hospital.
