The collaboration is centred on the Global Health Innovation Network (GHIN), an initiative designed to advance healthcare innovation on a global scale.

The partnership brings together clinical expertise, research capabilities, and technological innovation to support the development, implementation, and scaling of new healthcare solutions. A key focus is on areas such as screening, diagnostics, and monitoring, where emerging technologies can improve both quality of care and system efficiency.

Within the collaboration, Sahlgrenska and NUHS contribute clinical insight, research collaboration, and test environments, while the industry partners provide technological and innovation expertise. Together, they create a platform for knowledge exchange, joint development, and real-world application of new solutions.

The partnership reflects a long-term commitment to international collaboration, with the shared ambition of accelerating innovation and ensuring that new treatments and technologies reach patients more quickly—both regionally and globally.
