Queen Silvia Children's Hospital is Sweden's largest pediatric hospital and a part of Sahlgrenska University Hospital. We welcome all patients in need of specialist paediatric care.

Queen Silvia Children's Hospital offers National Specialised Medical Care in 33 areas, we perform transplants of all types of organs and are recognised as a leading centre in the field. Our pediatric intensive care unit is the oldest in the world, established as early as 1955. We are Sweden’s leading pediatric clinical research center, a Comprehensive Cancer Center and partner of several ERNs. We operate a centre for Patient-Reported Outcome Measures (PROM) and an Advanced Therapy Medicinal Products (ATMP) centre, both focused on paediatric care.
With it's single-patient rooms with en suites and accomodation for parents by the bedside, the Queen Silvia Children's Hospital's design is rooted in the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, which is Swedish law.
The children's hospital was recently named the world’s best healthcare environment of the past decade by the European Healthcare Design Awards.
