Welcome to the translated version of the class My child has autism Online! This class is for parents of children with autism.
The programme includes lectures, roleplay and materials that you can use. This programme was written in Swedish and then translated into various languages. If you are taking the class in Swedish, please see the Swedish version at “Stöd och Behandling”. Contact your clinic for more information.
The videos include social workers, psychologists, special education teachers and specialist nurses who work with children and adolescents with autism. You will also see interviews with other parents.

Purpose
We know that some situations in daily life are challenging when you have a child with autism. But we also know that you can change challenging situations in order for things to work better.
The purpose of the class is to develop an understanding, methods and tools to help daily life run more smoothly. We talk more about this in the video below!

Planning and content
The class comprises five lessons and supplementary webinars/follow-ups. Based on your needs and the clinic’s conditions, the webinars/follow-ups may look somewhat different. The lessons include several videos. If you would rather read the video content, you can find it at the end of each lesson.
